REFUND POLICY

Really important note: Apple Eye Games are sold on our website shop and in gift shops–your item must be returned to the same place you purchased it from.  If you bought an Apple Eye Game from one of our gift-shop affiliates, your return will fall under their shop’s return policy. 

WEBSITE RETURNS

Apple Eye Games merchandise from our Website Shop are refundable under the following conditions:

  • The return is within 30 days of the date of purchase.
  • You include proof of purchase.
  • The game and internal packaging are unused, like new.
  • The game is packaged well for shipping.  (Ideally in the thoughtful packaging it arrived in).
  • Please include a note with your name and email address inside the package (this will make everything so much easier!)

We’re sad to say, there are a few items that are not returnable:

  • Gift Cards
  • Downloadable Items

Please contact us if you have an issue with any of these items not working.  We’ll see what we can do.

So, this is what you can expect after you securely box-up and ship the item back to us:

  • We will contact you as soon as we receive your shipped item.
  • We will check that the item is new, etc. like mentioned above.
  • We issue you a refund to your original form of payment. 
  • We contact you one more time to confirm that all this has happened.

Of course, we all know a credit card transaction takes 1-3 business days to be complete.  Would you watch with us to be certain this happens?  Thanks.

Say something you are returning was purchased on sale—no worries; all items will be refunded in the same amount they were purchased for. 

DAMAGED ITEMS

Interesting thing–sometimes items break in shipping.  If for any reason, your game arrives broken from shipping, contact us at the email below!  We will ask you to email us pictures of the package and the contents inside.  We’ll need the original shipping boxes—so hang on to them.  And then have a few quick questions for you.  Then, this becomes an opportunity for us to replace your game and have a friendly talk with our shipper!  We will pay for the return shipping on the damaged item. 

The short version: once we have communicated by email about your damaged package, and after you email us photos of that damage, we will verify that it qualifies for a new item, we will pay for return shipping, and we will send you a replacement game. 

RETURNING A GIFT

Giving is the heartbeat of Apple Eye Games.  If your item was a gift, and you choose to return it, we can replace it with store credit for the same value.  When you package and ship the item (in new condition and its original packaging), include the name of the person who gave you the gift (if possible).  We’ll be happy to make the switch-a-roo.   

SHIPPING YOUR RETURN

The cost of shipping your item back to us is your responsibility.  We will cheerfully process your refund as quickly as we receive the item in new, unused condition.  Most shipping includes shipping insurance—please just check that it is sufficient for the value of your item.  We look forward to receiving it and helping you out on our end.
